A home in the West End of Folkestone with children and pets. Dry Cleaning was not going to restore these items, there was simply just a lot of what I call “family life” going on this home. So there were the usual stains, spills, spots and contact soiling that I would expect that builds up over time. The owners had tried some DIY remedies and this had caused the colours to bleed. My dilemma was, Dry Cleaning wouldn’t get it clean whereas a Wet Clean would. Dry Cleaning was safest and a Wet Clean ran the risk of colours bleeding. I made the choice to Wet Clean in order to get the furniture clean and to get rid of the stains etc.
I have access to some really specialised products that can provide a very gentle but effective clean, and at the same time help to stabilise the colours. Coupled with a rapid drying programme, I was able to clean the furniture effectively, halt the colours from bleeding and get it dry and ready for use later that day.
